PSL 8 Breaks Records with Staggering Revenue of Rs 5.62 Billion


Pakistan’s mega cricket event Pakistan Super league (PSL) has once again proven to be a gold mine, with revenue generation expanding significantly due to its growing popularity. According to reports, this year’s tournament recorded a staggering earning of Rs5.62 billion. The revenue is distributed between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and PSL franchises based on a sharing formula. The PCB receives five percent of the total revenue, while the remaining 95% is equally distributed among the six franchises.

With this year’s earnings, the PCB’s share now stands at Rs582.53 million, providing valuable resources for the development and promotion of cricket in Pakistan. Additionally, each franchise earns an impressive sum of Rs841.129 million, highlighting the financial success and stability of the league.
