TikTok, the global video-creation and sharing company, has launched an Urdu-language version of its security centre in Pakistan.

It’s a one-stop shop for all things safety related to TikTok, such as legislation, tools, and resources for educating users about the platform’s products and providing precautionary measures when using it.

Consequently, a secure space where users can realise their ideas and express themselves without fear of retaliation is important for TikTok. Millions of creators from around the world use the site. Many crucial issues of safety on the platform are addressed in the portal’s sections, such as anti-bullying and parenting advice for young people as well as suicide and self-harm regulations.

Rather than focusing solely on products, TikTok has developed a safety strategy that encompasses all of the company’s components: policy, products, and partners.

For parents and guardians, the new movies in the security centre provide a better understanding of how the app tackles safety as well as recommendations for the community and resources that are available to them.

There are the following sections in the resource:

  • Protection from harm and unauthorised access.
  • A portion devoted to the platform’s activities in crucial areas, such as bullying prevention, suicide and self-harm awareness, and COVID-19 is also included.
  • Partners in security.
  • News about the safety of the platform
