Despite 3-0 series loss, Babar Azam shines as an individual highest runs scorer in an inning against England


During the third and last ODI of the three-match bilateral series against England, Pakistan Cricket Team’s captain Babar Azam became the highest runs scorer in an inning for Pakistan and also the highest individual scorer in an inning by an Asian Batsman in One Day International against England in England & Wales.

Although Pakistan lost the match as well as the series by 3-0 but masterclass Babar Azam piled many records during the third one-day International match played at the Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham.

Babar Azam: 158 of 139:

After scoring 158 of 139 balls, Babar claimed the top position on the list of highest runs scorer by an individual Pakistani Batsman against England in England. During the third and last ODI of the series, Baba Azam with the help of 14 fours and 4 mighty sixes scored 158 of just 139 balls.

Imam ul Haq: 151 of 131

During the third ODI of the bilateral series against England before mega event in 2019, Imam Ul Haq with help of 16 fours and one big six smashed 151 while he faced just 131 balls. England bating line-up succeeded in chasing the mighty total of 359 but Imam Ul Haq blistering hundred entertained the spectators.

Fakhar Zaman: 138 of 136

Although Pakistan lost the second ODI of the bilateral series against England in 2019 by 12 runs but Fakhar Zaman succeeded to score a fantastic hundred against host England. While chasing the biggest total of 373 Fakhar Zaman with the help of 12 fours and 4 big sixes scored 138 of just 136 balls.
