Considering the encouraging trends of Covid-19 in country, Pakistan has increased its International flight operations from 20% to 50%. Director Air Transport, Civil Aviation has also issued the notification in this regard.
The notification will take effect from today (Friday) from 12 a.m.
It is pertinent to mention that to control the spread of Covid-19 virus in the country, National Command Operational Centre (NCOC), had issued the directives to reduce upto 20% its international flight operations.
Limited air operations caused the inconvenience to the Pakistani nationals to return home. However, on recommendations of NCOC, Cabinet has given a green signal on this. The decision has opened the doors for 2500 to 3000 Pakistanis to return home on daily basis and will enjoy Eid-ul-Azha with their families.
