IT Minister Syed Amin Ul Haque visits Ultrasoft Software Technology Park in Quetta


Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque has said that employment opportunities in IT sector will be created for the youth of Balochistan.

The Federal Minister for IT said this during his visit to Ultrasoft Software Technology Park (STP) in Quetta on Friday.

He said that one hundred students belong to Balochistan will be given internship regarding IT.
He said that under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan those areas remained deprived in the past will be uplifted in every sector. Development of Balochistan is vital for country’s uplift, he added.

Talking about IT exports, Federal Minister for IT said that ICT export remittances have surged to US $ 2.123 billion at growth rate of 47.43% during FY 2020-21, in comparison to US $1.440 billion during FY 2019-20.

IT exports target of $5 billion will be achieved by year 2023, he added.

The Federal Minister also congratulated Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and IT industry for increase in IT exports.
Earlier, the Federal Minister for IT was given detailed briefing. He also met with IT experts and visited different sections of Ultrasoft Software Technology Park.
