The Swift is a subcompact hatchback that competes with cars like the Kia Rio, Toyota Yaris, Hyundai I20, and few others similar cars.

The new Swift will be available in three different versions from PSMC. All models will have a naturally aspirated 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 90 horsepower (hp) and 120 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual, CVT automatic, or 5-speed AGS transmission.

Two airbags, parking sensors, a smart infotainment unit, cruise control, child-seat anchors, climate control, a TFT screen in the instrument cluster, Anti-Lock Braking System, and a few more features are expected to be included.

Swift will most likely be released at a high cost by PSMC. However, given that customers have been waiting for a new Swift for more than 10 years, the new Swift is expected to sell well.

According to the source, the top Swift model would cost roughly Rs. 3.2 million, making it a competitor to the Toyota Yaris and Honda City.
