Spotify Users Face Service Outage

Spotify, a Swedish streaming service, fell offline for short period of time on Tuesday night for an unexplained cause, according to the business, with millions of customers reporting they were logged out and unable to get back in.

The firm announced that service has been restored after around 90 minutes. “Everything is looking better now,” it stated, without elaborating on the cause of the outage.

Millions of users have complained about their inability to connect to the app on Twitter.

Several other platforms, according to Spotify, were also affected. “Today, at 1:15 p.m. EST, Spotify and numerous other platforms had a brief service interruption (1815 GMT). Spotify is back up and running for most customers as of 2:40 p.m. EST “,

More than 400 million active users utilise the service, with 180 million of them paid members.
