A new hiking trail for hikers and tourists was unveiled by the Capital Development Authority (CDA Environment Wing ) in Islamabad’s Margalla Hills. The five-kilometer Trail 7, which connects C-12 and Kainthia, Alexander Well, was formally opened by the city authority. Both Irfan Nawaz Memon, the DC for Islamabad, and Captain Usman, the CDA Chairman, were present.

Earlier this month, CDA also reopened “Trail 1” and “Trail 2” in the Margalla Hills to hikers and visitors after completing the necessary restoration work, which included placing maps, milestones, and benches along the way.
The Asian Leopard Preservation Zone was established by the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) earlier this year to protect and preserve a number of Asian leopards that have recently been spotted along Trail 6 of the Margalla Hills.
In March of this year, the Hill Park on Third Road in Sector G-10/4, Islamabad, was inaugurated by the chairman of the Capital Development Authority, Amir Ali Ahmed.
