ICT exports surges to US$2.6b during FY21-22

ICT export remittances, including telecommunication, computer and information services for the period July 2021 to June 2022 during FY2021-22 have surged to US$ 2.616 billion at a growth rate of 24.1% in comparison to US$ 2.108 billion during the FY 2020-21.

In June 2022, the ICT export remittances are US$ 235 million when compared to US$ 183 million reported for the month of May 2022, an increase of US$ 52 million. When compared to export remittances of US$ 210 million during the previous year in June 2021, an increase of US$ 25 million.

The net exports for the FY2021-22 are US$ 2.004 billion which is 76.61% of US$ 2.616 billion in ICT exports. Last FY2020-21, the net exports were US$ 1.578 billion which was 74.86% of US$ 2.108 billion in ICT exports.
