According to reports, WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned messaging service, is taking away its feature that allowed users to host chat rooms in their chats. The feature was introduced approximately a year ago.
Reports claim that the Messenger Rooms shortcut for iOS and Android versions of WhatsApp has been disabled by WhatsApp.
In May of 2020, a new shortcut was added to Facebook Messenger that allows users to quickly establish groups of up to 50 people.

According to a tweet from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is doing rid of the pointless chat sharing option.
Why has WhatsApp removed this shortcut?
WhatsApp verifies which features are used by their users. If the feature didn’t achieve success, it means it’s the moment to modify it. In this case, Whatsapp have verified that the option is not used, The messaging app might have thought it would have been better to remove it, maybe including a good replacement for the next updates.
