Following Pakistan Railways’ action, the private operator halted payments to the government’s railway department worth millions of rupees. According to sources, the operator had received millions of rupees in advance bookings from travellers.

According to sources, the railway department will suffer significant financial losses. The railway ministry slapped a show-cause notice on the private operator of the Tezgam Express train, NCS, in this regard. Furthermore, the railway department directed DCOs in Karachi, Sukkur, Lahore, and Multan to seize control of the passenger train.
According to sources, the railway department seized management of the platform and train booking booths of the Tezgam Express train in Rawalpindi and Karachi after the agreement was violated.
On Saturday, the railway authorities seized the train’s ticketing system, and today, railway personnel were stationed at ticket counters in Rawalpindi and Karachi.
