Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan’s bad health condition has forced the hospital staff to move him to the corona emergency ward. After confirming Covid positive, Khan was first admitted to KRL Hospital in Islamabad on August 26, while after a couple of days, when the condition got even worse, he has been moved to the military hospital in Rawalpindi on August 28.

The Board of medical experts at the military hospital is taking care of Dr. Abdul Qadeer who is suffering from other chronic diseases as well.
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is a Pakistani nuclear physicist and metallurgical engineer who is colloquially known as the “father of Pakistan’s atomic weapons program“. Khan is celebrated in Pakistan for bringing balance to the South Asian region after India’s nuclear tests. Khan was also awarded Hilal-i-Imtiaz in 1989 and Nishan-i-Imtiaz in 1999
