Pakistani movies to be screened in Beijing

In order to promote cultural exchanges and further strengthen bilateral relations, Pakistan Embassy, Beijing and China-Film Administration have jointly organized a four-day film week starting from tomorrow, August 04.  

Last year in November, Silver-screens in China aired “Parwaaz Hai Junoon” for the first time in 40 years. Around 400 people from different walks of life applauded the film.

During the four-day Film Week, China-Film Administration will screen five Pakistani dramas with Chinese and English subtitles.

Motorcycle Girl:

Directed by Adnan Sarwar, the film is based on the life of Pakistani motorcyclist Zenith Irfan. She was the first girl from the male-dominated society who decided to travel across the country. She faced many hardships during his long lonely journey. Sohai Ali Abro plays Zenith Irfan in the film.  

Punjab Nahi Jaon Gi:

Written by renowned Pakistani Writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, The story is about a love triangle of common folk. Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane play a major role in the film. The film truly depicts Punjabi culture as well.

Bin Roye:

Bin Roye is a leading Pakistani drama based on the novel Bin Roye Ansoo written by Farhat Ishtiaq. This romantic drama was directed by Momina Duraid and Shahzad Kashmiri. Produced by Momina Duraid, the film stars Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan and Armeena Khan.

Ho Mann Jahaan:

Directed and written by Asim Raza, the story reveals the friendship, passion for music and aspiration for fame. Adeel Hussain, Mahira Khan, Sheheryar Munawar and Sonya Jehan are the major character in the drama.

Blind Love:

Blind Love is a romantic film based on love which started from the bank robbery. The film was released in 2016. Yasir Shah as a Danish and Nimra Khan as Sara are protagonists of the film.
