Tokyo Olympics: Japan may soon see the highest single-day positive cases

Corona cases in Tokyo have shot up to a record high only 4 days after the start of the ‘Tokyo Olympics’.

Tokyo detailed 2,848 new cases. It’s a most elevated everyday figure to date. The daily count of the positive cases was over 7,000 which was the highest after May 12. Crawling nearer to Japan’s high of around 8,000 cases in a single day reported in January.
