Pakistani medium-fast bowler Hassan Ali on Wednesday achieves the milestone of 50 wickets in T20 format. After getting the wicket of Evin Lewis, Hassan Ali became the ninth Pakistani bowler who got 50 wickets in a short format.
In the second match of the T20 series, Hassan Ali joins the list with Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hafeez, Shadab Khan, Sohail Tanvir and Imad Wasim.
Hassan Ali also became the third-fastest Pakistani to get 50 wickets in 38 matches. Former Fast bowler, Umar Gul touched that milestone in 36 while magician spinner Saeed Ajmal reached in 37 matches.
The energetic fast bowler also became the 10th fastest bowler to reach the 50 wicket milestone in a number of matches.
Recently, PCB offered Category A contracts for year 2021-22 to Hassan Ali and Rizwan. Hassan is among the 20 other players who are part of Category A contracts.
However, the rain abandoned the first match of the bilateral series between West Indies and Pakistan. Pakistan will face the host West Indies in the second match on July 31.
